Taking Downloadable and Uploadable Screenshots of Your Online Whiteboard

As an addendum to Tuesday’s intro to online whiteboards, I got a nice email from Jordan of Scriblink telling me how to turn my whiteboard into a saveable and uploadable screenshot. It all depends on whether you use a PC or a Mac. For PC users:

  • Hit the Print Screen key
  • Open MS Paint
  • Click on Edit and select Paste from the dropdown
  • Save your image in your favorite format
Mac users should check out this helpful video on capturing a screenshot in OSX.

While an interactive whiteboard packs more power when it comes to downloading and sharing words and images, this short tutorial certainly does the trick for Scriblink and other online whiteboard applications. Thanks again to Jordan.
